New staging under construction
The next phase of FACTs pontoon project is under construction - the new staging and decking alongside the lightvessel is now being installed. The project, which includes a wide gangway and new pontoons will provide improved access to our fleet and all water activities, while enabling those with special needs easier access.
The project is scheduled to be nearing completion in March.

Piling continues despite the snow
The start of the new year saw the arrival of a barge complete with crane and piling rig. The new walkway and pontoon project includes a new staging with wheelchair access. This required a foundation of approximately 20 wooden telegraph poles which have been piled deep into the ground.
