Lianne Ayres, secretarial assistant. Lianne works in the office with Mary on the booking admin, correspondence and lots more. In September Lianne hopes to be starting teacher training locally. |

Joe Bird, senior instructor. Joe is a member of the full time team following on from his degree in sound design. He first came to FACT to learn to sail, and has kept coming back and is now an RYA senior instructor. He also holds safety boat, archery & climbing qualifications. Following his final year at FACT Joe is considering a career in law. |

Ben Crick,
outreach worker. Ben is starting this exciting new role at FACT following his gap year. Ben will be spending his time taking FACTness to local youth groups, schools and organisations. He loves the outdoors and sailing, and enjoys playing his guitar. Ben is a RYA dinghy instructor, and an archery & climbing instructor. |

Andrew Eastham,
operations director /principal. Andrew ensures that courses and group programmes go to plan. He's I/C of all the centre's activities programme and its development. He's an RYA Coach/Assessor, Powerboat Trainer, First Aid Trainer and holds an ECC Climbing Wall & GNAS Archery Supervisor Award. |

David Hillyer, centre director. David leads the staff team and looks after the running of the trust. David's priorities are admin, financial management, safety procedures, legislation, development, projects and fund raising. He's a magistrate, and in his spare time chairs a local respite care trust. |

Mary Hope, centre administrator. Mary works in the office and looks after the booking admin, correspondence, accounting and lots more. She and her family, who live in Tollesbury, have been involved with FACT for 20 years.

Dorothee Kaestner, assistant cook. Dorothee has come for a year out through Time For God from her home in Germany. Dorothee loves meeting people and cooking. She will be working alongside Mark in delivering lots of pukka cakes & grub.

Kevin Nash, centre instructor. Kevin studied computer science before starting out in the I.T world, but he has hung up his keyboard to work in the great outdoors. Kevin is a keen cyclist and canoeist as well as enjoying sailing, archery & climbing. He holds an RYA Dinghy Instructor & Safety Boat award as well as a GNAS Archery award.

Luke Newell , centre instructor. Luke has joined us for the summer season. Currently on a gap year following his A - levels, Luke is looking forward to a summer full of groups before going on to studying for a degree in biochemistry at The University of Bath in September. While not sailing Luke enjoys basketball as well as most other sports. |

Sophie Richards, centre instructor. Sophie has just finished her degree in product design & development. A keen sailor she is looking to use her skills at FACT before the next step in her career. Sophie is a qualified dinghy instructor, safety boat driver, archery & climbing instructor.

Jon Salmon, centre instructor & Bosun of Plain Kate. Jon has just graduated from Brunel after studying mechanical engineering. He loves anything outdoors, particularly sailing, cycling and climbing. Jon holds a dinghy & powerboat instructors ticket and is an archery & climbing instructor. |

Mike Swindin, centre instructor. Mike has joined the team following his A-levels before going on to study at university. Mike has a lot of big boat experience and is looking forward to spending more time in dinghies; he's a qualified dinghy instructor, safety boat driver, archery & climbing instructor.

Anna White , educational co-ordinator. A full time member of the team, Anna joined FACT after completing a political and social sciences degree at Bangor Uni. She's a keen environmentalist and heads up the educational programme. Anna is a qualified dinghy instructor, safety boat driver, archery & climbing instructor.

Mark Woodyard, head of catering. There's more to FACT than messing about in boats, oh yes. We do pukka grub and lots of it! Mark, an experienced chef with a degree in hospitality studies, is the man who makes it happen. |
